Although most garden furniture no matter the material or style doesn’t require a huge investment in time to care or maintain the product there is one style and material which requires the least amount of care and that is aluminium and textilene dining sets.

Dining sets which comprise of an aluminium framed table with a minimal maintenance table top material like; glass, polywood or ceramic. Plus aluminium framed dining chairs which have importantly a textilene base and back meaning there is no cushion to either take inside or care for.

This type of set can be left outside all year round with you having to do nothing to keep it looking great apart from a light clean if it becomes dirty.

With many different fabrics used by manufacturers please refer to the instructions included with your furniture.

There are normally three different levels of outdoor cushion and it ability to withstand the rain;

1 – There is little to no rain protection. Please make sure this cushion is taken inside or covered when it starts to rain. The cushion should be able to take a small amount of drizzle however if it becomes too wet the fire retardant layer applied inside the cushion ( this is found on all UK spec cushions from all manufacturers ) may start to leach out and leave a small white stain.

2 – Water resistant. These cushions normally have an internal layer that stops the water penetrating the fabric and reaching the foam inside. As a general rule they can be left outside even when it is raining, however they must be brought back inside during the winter months and extended periods of prolonged bad weather.

3 – All weather. These cushions are normally neither waterproof or water resistant but instead are made to be porous but fast drying. The key to this type of cushion is the hard wearing outer fabric that is used meaning they can be left out in all seasons and in every type of weather. Three examples would be Textilene, Olefin and Sunbrella fabrics.

All our garden furniture is delivered by a friendly two-man delivery team unless otherwise stated on the item listing.

Delivery will be to the garden area of your choosing and your furniture will normally be kept in its boxes.

You will be sent an email and text message suggesting a proposed delivery day. If this day is not convenient don’t worry this is not problem, simply contact the courier on the freephone number or email provided within the delivery information and another delivery day can be arranged.

You will receive a three-hour delivery window the day before the delivery.

On the day of the delivery you will be sent a link to be able to track the delivery vehicle from the moment it sets off to the second it reaches your address.

30 minutes before the delivery team arrives at your property you will receive a call from them to confirm their imminent arrival.

We aim to deliver garden furniture items and large parasols within 2 – 10 working days unless otherwise specified on the item. Our current average is 5 days delivery.

Furniture covers, standard parasols and heaters are normally received within 5 working days.

For garden furniture items we deliver throughout mainland Great Britain only as standard. For areas outside of the please contact us.

For large parasols and heaters, we deliver throughout mainland Great Britain only.

For furniture covers, standard heaters, and parasols, plus any other ‘postal’ items we deliver throughout the UK. Although some postcodes may incur additional delivery costs.

As standard, we do not build any of our furniture, your set will be delivered inside its original packaging.

We have previously delivered furniture to mainland Europe however this is only by request.

There are many different brands of garden furniture available both in store and online. We would normally suggest brands with some history behind them and a proven track record of both manufacturing good quality furniture and also offering a good level of support is a good sign.

We have dealt with our longest standing supplier for over 17 years and even our most recent brand addition has been manufacturing furniture for over 20 years, so we know the product and support is excellent.

The old adage of you get what you pay for really is true with garden furniture as so many styles and sets look extremely similar, especially online, however when you look closely at the materials used and the construction techniques you can really start to see the difference between them.

Unfortunately once your order has been placed we cannot guarantee that we would be able to change your order, this is due to some items being processed for dispatch immediately after placing your order.

Furniture covers, small parasols and small heaters cannot be amended or cancelled after the order is placed. This is due to our system automatically processing the dispatch of them. If you no longer require the item plus send it back to us and we will issue a refund to you.

Every brand we supply we would say produces very good quality furniture. We could sell other brands of furniture but decide to only supply what we feel are some the best available.

The simplest way of looking the quality of products can be the guarantee, the longer the guarantee the higher quality that product normally is.

Providing the teak is of a good quality, normally you can leave the wood to oxidise naturally whereby the golden colour will slowly turn a nice silvery grey colour. This will require a light sand once a year just to keep the wood looking perfect.

Alternatively you can treat the furniture with wood protectors, shields and oils which can keep the ‘new’ colour of the wood for longer.

The exception to this advice is when the manufacturer has specific treatment plans that should always be followed. If this is the case you will find the information included with the product.

Providing the wood is of a high quality normally covering is not essential, unless the manufacturer specifies a cover for the set.

Unlike other furniture materials there are issue which can arise from covering wood especially if covered when wet and left for an extended period of time. The main issue is the creation of mould and damp areas on the wood surface. Although this can be removed easily with a light sand and wood treatment, it is unsightly and an inconvenience.

Covering wood is absolutely fine provided the wood is dry when first being covered and that semi regular airing of the cover is carried out (i.e once a fortnight).

Once your return is received into our warehouse and inspected, we will be ready to issue your refund.

We will always issue the refund back to the card or payment method you originally used to make the purchase. Our payment gateway provider is able to issue the refund back to he payment method without the need to take more details from you.

Once the refund has been issued it normally takes around 5 days to clear back into your account.

During extended periods of non-use in the summer and especially over the winter months it is advisable ( but not essential ) to cover your rattan garden furniture to protect it from garden dirt, grime and wildlife.

We would normally suggest metal garden furniture, in particular aluminium garden furniture will last the longest. This is due to its extremely high durability and rust resistance. Aluminium garden furniture can last decades if basic maintenance is carried out when needed.

However that is not to say other materials are not also hard wearing. A high quality teak product could last 30 years if maintained correctly. Regular maintenance is essential on any wood product to ensure its longevity.

Rattan garden furniture probably has the biggest difference in its longevity. Ranges which carry a 3 – 10 year guarantee on its weave can last a very long time and have the added benefit of hiding scraps and marks unlike metal furniture which normally show scratches and marks quite easily. However very cheap rattan garden furniture that can be found in the bigger high street chains may only last one season before it needs to be replaced due to strands becoming brittle, snapping and becoming defective.

No, all the rattan furniture we sell is made from extruded polyethylene which is an extremely hard wearing material resistant to deteriorating quickly and can withstand outdoor weather conditions.

Normally we always require a picture of the fault as this helps us diagnose the issue. Also for most warranty related problems we need to forward all the product information, fault description and picture of the fault to the manufacturer.

If you are missing a part of your order from your delivery i.e a missing box, please inform us and we will arrange for another to be dispatched to you.

If you have received your furniture and found you are missing a part inside a box i.e a leg or some bolts, please inform us and we will arrange for a replacement to be dispatched to you.

We will arrange for a replacement part or item to be dispatched to you and will normally arrange for the faulty part or item to be collected at the same time.

For replacement garden furniture we will always arrange for the delivery of the new item or product and the collection of the faulty item or product to be carried out at the same time. Delivery of any replacement product can not be done unless the returning item is ready to collect.

Yes, providing you are returning the item in an unused and unbuilt original condition and that the original packaging is intact and returned with the product.

We must be informed within 30 days from delivery.

We cannot accept the return of any used item.

No. The spray of the jet wash can be extremely powerful and can easily lift parts from the surface of the wood. Even when held at a distance the water can be extremely abrasive, leaving a clean but damaged surface once finished.

The majority of garden furniture can be left outside all year, however there are some exceptions. The most important item of any garden furniture set no matter the brand, style or material are the cushions. Generally cushions should never be left out during bad weather and especially not all year. The only exceptions to this rule are Life all weather cushions and 4 Seasons Olefin cushions.
